Meanwhile....

In case you forgot about us, we are The Children Who Didn't Get Invited On The Wish Trip (TCWDGIOTWT).  It important to note, however, that we have had just as much, if not more fun, than The Favorite Children.  After all, who really needs unlimited ice cream, and free movies, and VIP treatment, and swimming pools, and never ending treats and presents...... ok fine. Those are pretty great. But we CAN have a good time too. Observe:

If we tried really hard, we could pretend the fire trucks were whales.... really rectangular, red whales.... ok, maybe we were trying too hard.

And I suppose Atticus could be an otter....

This Disney Princess seems a little young.... but who am I to judge? Maybe employment options were limited.
But hey, she's pretty cute!

We can watch cool movies too, and we don't even have to fly to Florida  for it!

This ice cream was definitely not free. Nor was it unlimited.

On our carousel rides, our animals are alive.... if a bit ill-tempered.

Moral of the story: no parents = lots of fun! Ok, that's not actually the moral. Maybe "who needs Disneyworld?" Or how about, "We can have fun without you! Take that, Favorite Children!" Fine, it's none of those. I guess there isn't really a moral, we're just a bunch of kids taking silly pictures and hijacking my mom's blog. Which is super fun, by the way. You should all try it sometime. Party on.

Yea for Sunday -- a day of rest!  Boy did we need one!

This morning we heard a knock at the door, and this Candyland game was delivered personally to Brendan.  We soon realized that it was no ordinary Candyland -- this was a "Give Kids The World" Village Candyland!

The game shows all of our favorite spots in the Village.  We did our own tour of the Village today -- checking out all the spots we hadn't visited yet.

First was Matthew's Boundless Playground.

We hailed a ride back since it was so hot -- (and we just wanted a ride!)

Here's a little tour of our neighborhood.  Our villa is the last one seen on the video clip.  You can hear Aaron say, "There's our house!"

And here's a clip from the walk from the Ice Cream Palace to Amberville -- where the games and the teenage fun hour are located.

The train and the rides and the miniature golf are behind Amberville.  Aaron really was in heaven -- he got to drive the train!!!

Brendan brought up the rear in the caboose.

Lindsay and I found the rocking chairs by the fan refreshing!

GKTW shows you that you are never to old to be a kid!  (It was also good exercise -- you had to pedal faster to go higher.)

In the Castle of Miracles, Brendan was given a glass star.  He wrote his name on it and he put it in the magic box.  The fairy took it and will put it on the ceiling at night.  There are already thousands of stars on the ceilings and in the tower and we can come back and see his star anytime we want.

There are over100,000 stars on the ceiling the Castle of Miracles and in the Star Tower.

The kids were all given pillows -- for sweet dreams!

Aaron was right!  The elephant talks to you and sucks up paper through his trunk.

 Of course, the best thing about Sunday is the chance to go to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints anywhere in the world.  Taking the sacrament and remembering our Savior always brings peace and joy.

Once again, we enjoyed dinner at the Towne Hall.

 The volunteers here are always so kind and helpful.  We get to meet lots of new people every day.

 Yep!  Aaron ate all his peas.  See those muscles?

 We decided to head to Disney World's Magic Kingdom for the Electric Parade and Fireworks.  Due to the lightning, the parade was cancelled, but we stuck around for the Fireworks.

It was worth it!
