Brendan's Passing. . .

After a restless night, Brendan slipped peacefully away this morning at 8:23 a.m. surrounded by his family.  We are so sad, but so grateful he is finally at peace and out of pain.  Thank you all for all of your love and support.  I will update funeral arrangements as we make them.

  5. Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting;
    The Soul that rises with us, our life's Star,
    Hath had elsewhere its setting And cometh from afar;
    Not in entire forgetfulness,
    And not in utter nakedness,
    But trailing clouds of glory
    do we come From God,
    who is our Home.

  17. Beautifully written! Brendan had a big impact on so many people. Definitely an unforgettable kid! I think of him every time I use the baby gift you two gave me when his class threw me a baby shower. Lots of memories I'll always cherish!
