Today was kind of "ho hum." I love days like this. No surprises, no excitement, just normal. It gets kind of boring, but I'm ok with that.
Brendan played games with his cousin, Marie.
We watched Kung Fu Panda 3. (As we try to think of fun things to do for Spring Break we realize just how limited we are in so many ways -- No activities like Jump Zone for Brendan. The Fun Park is out -- and Brendan is too tired for much physical activity. So movies just fit the bill. And they are quite the treat for our family.)
Brendan enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine for awhile.
And then his Wish Granters came! "Ho hum" turned into "pretty exciting" when Brendan was told about all the wonderful things that he could imagine doing for his Make-A-Wish!
We had a great time meeting with Ashley and Kael. They are going to be a lot of fun to work with.
Fun prevailed tonight with everyone home. Music was turned up, the kids made homemade soft pretzels, and everyone was together. Just what Brendan wishes for.
So much joy in all this wishing✨Being home with family is a perfect 'wish come true'.
