We met up with Brendan just in time to get him to his radiation treatment. Only 7 clicks of the machine instead of the usual nine. Treatment area getting smaller each time. They are just focusing on the lymph nodes in his neck now.
Instead of heading out to the parking garage, Brendan took us to the 6th floor of the Huntsman Cancer Institute to check out the view.
Driving past Primary Children's Hospital.
Everyone feeling pretty good today -- it's nice to be together again.
Brendan is holding down more and more food now (still all through the tube). We're hoping to put some more weight on him before the next round of chemo. Every time he sits down we hook up the food bag and try to put some more in him.
Playing with Aaron and his cousin.
Brendan's blood counts came back today looking very good. We're so happy about that. They told him he could do whatever he feels like doing over the Christmas break. For now, laying by the fireplace is good enough. He'll have early radiation on Thursday morning and can then head home for the holidays. He's excited to be getting his sister Rachel home from the Czech Republic tomorrow. He hasn't seen her in person since before he was diagnosed with cancer.
