The Windows of Heaven

Today felt like the verse from Malachi 3:10 that says the Lord will ". . .open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

There just wasn't enough room in my heart today for all the joy I felt.  It kept welling up in my heart and spilling out my eyes.  For starters, everyone was home again.  Everyone together.  Brendan was feeling great.  (Almost too great -- he really wore himself out.)  Friends came to visit.  Family came to spend time. We felt the overwhelming love of family, friends, neighbors, and strangers.
The generosity of others exceeded what we could comprehend with our minds.  It was felt in our hearts.  And there was not room enough to receive it.  Our hearts are overflowing with the love and concern of others.
The kids serenading Rachel to wake her up for Christmas morning.  She is still on Czech time!
All of Brendan's wishes came true.  1) He was able to be home for Christmas, and 2) His out-of-state cousins arrived to celebrate the evening with us.

We are so grateful for the blessing of this Christmas day.  For the birth and life of our Savior.  That his Atonement gives us strength to endure our challenges.  May you each be blessed and enjoy the Spirit of this wonderful Christmas day!
