A Bonus Day

You know when plans change and you have free time you didn't count on? (I know -- that never happens to adults!)   Well, Brendan hardly knew what to do today with all the time he had available that he thought would be spent getting hearing tests and his chemo treatment.

He did find out that his hair is falling out again.  We were beginning to think it would never fall out.  (Brendan says he can't wait till he's bald.  It's a far cry from how worried he was months ago that his hair was going to fall out, then come in curly and blond.  He thinks that is pretty funny now!)

He did talk Aaron into a nerf gun war. . .  (Check out those safety glasses!)
I insisted Brendan work on his math homework with some of that free time.  Aaron had other ideas. . .

"If you're going to watch a movie, you have to be eating."  Brendan didn't think that was very fair, but he did it anyway.
Tonight, instead of getting to bed, he wanted to stay up and help write the blog.  Even with low blood counts, he hasn't lost his sense of humor.  He's had everyone laughing all day!
I told him he could write it all. . . but he couldn't stay serious enough to get it done!

We'll see what he finds to do tomorrow -- and the next day. . .

  1. What has happened to your beautiful eyelashes? I had not noticed they were beginning to disappear. You will soon look completely different with no hair. Isn't it nice to know you will always be the same inside....Always Wonderful! That's the part we really love!
