Today we wrapped up Brendan's Wish Trip. Our flight out was late afternoon, so we had plenty of time to do all the "last" things.
We packed everything up. . .
Then headed into the Village for all the "lasts". . .
The first "last" was to go to the Memory Keepers and record a session of our family's Wish Trip memories. They have a professional recording studio and they burn a disc for us to take home with our memories and all the pictures they took while at the Village.
The back of the Castle of Miracles and Star Tower.Saying good-bye to Ol' Elmer.
Inside the Castle of Miracles to see Brendan's star on the ceiling.
Making a final wish. . .
Looking for Brendan's star. . .
Brendan's star is in the Bumblebee galaxy in the Star Tower. Then next door for a final ice cream treat.
We had to visit Amberville again. . .
for games. . .
and a train ride. . . (the missionaries do service here every Wednesday)
One last Lorie's Magical Flight ride. . .
Everyone was sad to leave Amberville.
One last slice of pizza at the Gingerbread House cafeteria. . .
One last Carousel ride. . .
Then it was time to pack everything up and pick up our discharge packet. Did you know that Wish Families get a year-long free pass to over 100 theme parks around the world? Wow!
At the airport.
It was a long flight home.
Brendan was so relieved when the girls were able to switch seats so he could stretch out.
In Salt Lake at last!
We were all pretty tired -- especially Aaron.
So glad to be home! Brendan especially. He says he never wants to go on an airplane again. We are so grateful to Make-A-Wish and all of the contributors that made our trip possible. It will be a memory for a lifetime!

Brendan's trip - all wrapped up and nicely preserved in the memory banks to last always.
